A 7-year-old girl was slightly injured by a bullet this afternoon (Saturday) while playing in the yard of a house in the settlement of Tel Zion in the Binyamin region.
Rescue forces called to the scene provided her with medical treatment and evacuated her to Hadassah-Mount Scopus Hospital while she was conscious.
An IDF spokesman said that the girl was apparently hit by stray fire from the direction of Qalandiya.

A security source noted that the suspicion that terrorists opened fire and fled was being investigated.
Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital reported after the end of Shabbat: "A 7-year-old girl was evacuated to the emergency room by MDA with a superficial injury to her abdomen, apparently from a gunshot. She is currently being treated by the Emergency Medicine Center team and surgeons, and is fully conscious and in a mild condition.".
