Eliyahu does not have a cell phone. After his family opened a case today with the Netivot police, she called me to ask for help with publicity." In a conversation with Haredim 10, his wife, Karnit Deloya, said: "Today we went to the police and opened a case. They told us that they had distributed the photo at the Safed police. The problem is that he does not have any phone, all the phones at home, if he had one - that would be great. He also does not know the new home number. "Yesterday was the engagement - that's what caused the problem. I know he is going, but because he did not show up yesterday - it scared us. He usually goes to Miron for a week, it's agreed between us that he goes. But he didn't show up for the engagement and that was scary. We talked to the dog unit. He has no way to call because he doesn't have a phone. He traveled alone, our children weren't with him." The deputy mayor of Netivot, Rabbi Yaakov Ma'alimi, also arrived at the family home, after speaking with the Netivot police chief and asking to help the family in any way he could. Shortly after midnight, the news came that he had been located in a synagogue in Netivot. Shortly afterward, his wife called the deputy mayor and announced that he had "entered the house." A spokeswoman for the Ya'al organization, which began the search, also announced: "Following the report about the missing Eliyahu Deloya, whose traces disappeared on August 19, 2022 from the Netivot area - the above-mentioned was located safe and sound.".
