Egypt seeks clarification from Israel on mass grave from the Six-Day War

Egypt turned to Israel this evening (Sunday) and requested clarification and details regarding a mass grave of Egyptian commandos who were killed in the Six-Day War near Latrun and were buried in the area where the 'Mini Israel' site is located today.

The requests come following publications over the weekend in the newspapers Haaretz and Yedioth Ahronoth about the affair.

According to a report in Kan News, the issue came up this evening in a phone conversation between interim Prime Minister Yair Lapid and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
