Will MK Idit Silman raise her hand for the first time against the Bennett-Lapid government? Associates of the MK from her right said today (Monday), after consultation, that she intends to vote against the extension of the Judea and Samaria law.

The Yamina party has issued threats towards Silman, warning her that if she harms the coalition by voting against it, she will be announced as resigning from the faction in the coming days.

Hours before the fateful vote, MK Jida Rinaoui-Zoabi of Meretz also unexpectedly announced that she would oppose the law. "I will not vote in favor of renewing the regulations that perpetuate the occupation. The continuation of the coalition is important to me, but I cannot vote in favor of such a law," she told Hadashot 12.

Before Silman and Rinaoui-Zoabi's announcement, the coalition estimated that it would be possible to mobilize Ra'am to vote in favor of the law, but now, when it appears that there will not be a majority, the coalition is concerned that Ra'am will have difficulty supporting it.

Apparently, the GNA will wait for the voting to begin, see how it progresses, and decide to vote accordingly.

MK Mazen Ganaim of RAAM told Radio Haifa: "If the government falls, it will be Saar and Bennett's problem. Everyone will see today how I vote.".

Speaking to News 12, Ganaim added: "I keep to myself what I'm going to vote for. I keep my cards close to my chest. Everyone will hear when the issue is put to a vote, everyone will hear my opinion. They won't be able to provoke me, what I believe is what I'm going to vote for.".
