The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office filed an indictment today (Thursday) in the city's District Court against David Yair Harash, a 55-year-old resident of the city, for committing serious offenses against minors. According to the indictment, filed by attorney Yuval Kader, about two and a half weeks ago, in the evening, the defendant took a seven-and-a-half-year-old girl at her father's request, bought her ice cream, walked her to a Sacher kindergarten - and there, in an isolated place, committed a particularly serious offense against her. When they did not return in time, the father reported her absence to the police. Then, the head returned with the girl to her neighborhood. The attacker was arrested a short time later. His defense attorney requested that his identity not be released, but the police objected and the court allowed it, in order to locate additional victims who would file a complaint against him. About six months earlier, the defendant attacked a 13-and-a-half-year-old girl at night in an alley in the city's Nahlaot neighborhood, and committed serious offenses against her, until the arrival of a passerby caused him to flee the scene.
