During a debate in the Knesset plenum on a bill by MK Ofir Katz to revoke citizenship from terrorists, a heated confrontation developed this evening (Wednesday) between the Likud MK and MKs from the Joint List, Ofer Kassif and Sami Abu Shehadeh.

Abu Shehadeh shouted at Katz: "Fascist, stay with Yigal Amir." Katz did not remain unmoved: "You are a Hamasnik, you went to a terror parade in Umm al-Fahm, it is a shame that you are in the Knesset, you should be in prison." Abu Shehadeh responded: "Bara bara, move." Katz continued: "In prison you will wave the Hamas flags, you can sing as many songs to Muhammad Daf as you want there." When MK Ofer Kassif began to speak from his seat in the plenum, Katz asked him: "Have you stopped hitting the police?" Kassif replied: "Maybe I will come back." Katz attacked back: "Next time you might fall for an unruly policeman who will retaliate in such a way that you will not be able to come and speak here. Fall for some policeman who will make you cry on television again.".
