Chef Roni Sonino, who was involved in the fire incident, says: "From an initial investigation into the apartment fire on Minchat Yitzhak Street, it turns out that the ignition of thorns at the bottom of the building caused a nearby tree to ignite, and that in turn ignited a pergola on the roof of the building, which as a result started the fire.".

""When the fire broke out, there were tenants in the building with many children, who, thanks to the quick and decisive action of the firefighters, escaped unharmed, and a major disaster was averted.".
