Malinowski accused the ultra-Orthodox Knesset members of neglect that led to the disaster in Meron: "What we have seen in Meron for years is criminal neglect by Knesset members from the ultra-Orthodox parties and activists, this is what led to the terrible disaster last year.

""This happened because the main thing that interested them was serving their personal-political interests and serving the religious figures who subordinate and serve them, instead of caring for the general public. The general public didn't interest them.".

According to Malinowski, the Haredi Knesset members did not participate in the tour with her because they are afraid: "It's not for nothing that on this tour we don't see any MKs from either Shas or United Torah Judaism, because they are afraid to come here. Just as they fled a year ago, this year too they are not taking responsibility and are not coming!"

""As with everything we touch in the field, over the years, we have as usual seen decay, filth, and concern for personal interests rather than concern for the general public. It is impossible to say that everything is in order and perfect this year at the festival, but the facts speak for themselves. We are trying to arrange it as best as possible to allow the general public to express their religious freedom.".

MK Malinovsky and MK Meirav Ben-Ari from the Interior Concrete Committee were joined by MKs Itamar Ben-Gvir, Yom Tov Kalfon, and Moshe Kinley Tor Paz. They toured Mount Meron and the Zion Rashbi compound and examined the government's preparations for the upcoming Lag BaOmer celebration.

The tour was accompanied by the Rashbi's Hilulat projector, Zviki Tesler.
