As a result, many Hasidic courtyards have sought to hold 'tishim' events throughout the moshav near Mount Meron, and over the past few weeks, great efforts have been made to locate suitable premises throughout the Meron settlement, where rebbes and rabbis can safely hold Lag BaOmer events.

Recently, several hectic meetings and conferences were held with the aim of locating and approving a venue that would serve the multitudes of participants in private events, including the 'Tishim'.

During the past week, MK Meir Porush met with Minister of Religious Services Matan Kahane and requested his intervention to find solutions and prepare the premises.

After much effort on the part of the Hasidim, the Bnei Akiva compound, located near the mountain, was approved for use after a plan agreed upon by all parties was found.

According to the plan, several different events will be held at the complex at different times, with limited participants. Those responsible for coordinating the activity in front of the Hasidic courtyards are the project consultants - Superintendent (retired) Arik Yakuel and Eliyahu Arend.

The Bnei Akiva complex is expected to host Lag BaOmer events by the Karlin and Zvi'ahel Hasidim, as well as the Rabbi of Safed, Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, and other rabbis.

The approval is subject to safety and security plans that will be approved by the authorities.
