The chairwoman of the Committee for Religious Services and National Infrastructure Projects, MK Yulia Malinovsky of Yisrael Beiteinu, attacked the Haifa Municipality on her social media for funding segregated events.

""The Haifa Municipality, which is a public body, is producing an event with public funds that will take place in a public place with separation between women and men. This is not a private event, but a celebration intended for all residents of the city. Something bad is happening in Haifa," she wrote, also tagging Haifa Mayor Einat Kalish.

One user wondered: "Yulia, do you think observant people who only go to events in isolation should be excluded from the holiday's activity budgets?""

And some responded with mockery: "Does everything Jewish bother you?""

And surfer Eldad Yona attacked: "In two weeks you will be thrown into the dustbin of history, along with the Jewish Rabbi who is in our government. Delusional, is this what you are dealing with??""

And another surfer was furious: "What's the problem with separation, you infidel? Go back to your country.".
