Is it normal and logical that Arabs celebrate a holiday and Jews should be afraid?

In two weeks, we will all gather around the Seder table, and the children will ask the four questions. We need to arouse the children's curiosity and make them ask, because sometimes there is a tendency to accept reality as it is, without asking why and how.

We too have somehow become accustomed to a certain reality, despite it being distorted and illogical.

We've stopped asking what's going on here and how it's possible that such behavior is met with a desperate shrug of the shoulders, and at most an expression of indignation in the circle of family and friends. So perhaps it's time to mention some of the questions that cry out to the heavens.

Why is Christmas scary?

These days, Muslims are celebrating the month of Ramadan. We went to find out what this month is all about. Well: "Ramadan is considered a month of holiness, brotherhood, and joy in Muslim culture.".

So why are the security forces making special preparations?

Further down the article, we found the explanation: "Some of the characteristics of the month are a sharp increase in violent incidents by Muslim Arabs against Jews and Israelis, including: throwing stones, Molotov cocktails, mass riots, and in many cases also murder attacks by running over, stabbing, shooting, and sabotage. Although there is no religious origin for this custom, it has become widespread and has unofficially become part of the month's commandments.".

Is it normal and logical that Arabs celebrate a holiday and Jews should be afraid? And why should Jews be afraid to drive on the roads of the South? Is there a sovereign state here, with an army and police, or are we living in a time two hundred years ago, when gangs of robbers terrorized passersby?

And why is it that when there was suspicion that Jewish youths had thrown stones at an Arab vehicle, the best Shin Bet investigators were activated and turned over every stone in an attempt to uncover the culprits, while when Jewish vehicles are pelted with stones on the roads of Judea and Samaria every day, the response is weak to non-existent?

And why does it make sense that volunteers should organize to protect the property of Jewish farmers in the north and south when this is the clear role of the police?

And why are the prosecutor's office and the courts so lenient in sentencing Arabs who commit hate crimes, while in exceptional cases, where Jews commit such acts, determination suddenly appears and a high punishment threshold is set?

And why should we freak out at the sight of reports from security prisons, which show murderers of Jews enjoying dream conditions, while the guards are required to be careful not to anger them, God forbid?

There is different and there is different.

And why are people who define themselves as enlightened and open-minded, willing to 'accept those who are different' whether they are Christian or Muslim, while towards observant Jews they become jealous and intolerant?

And why are those who are willing to give up the heart of the Land of Israel "to preserve the Jewish majority" fighting with all their might to flood the country with non-Jewish immigrants?

Maybe when we stop putting up with this illusory reality, and start asking questions, policymakers will realize that things must change.
