A short time ago, composer Yossi Fried and singer Yidala Mendelssohn were traveling together in a car. During the ride, Fried played Mendelssohn his melody to the words "I rejoiced when they said to me, 'To the house of the Lord we will go,'" from the Psalms, and within a day, Mendelssohn showed up at the studio to record the song he had become so attached to.
The two sent the song to Aharla Samet, who immediately announced that he would join in singing - and thus this special collaboration was born between the Hasidic singer Samet and the rising star in the world of events - Yidala Mendelsohn.
In a time of war between nations, the only thing we have is faith in God and walking in His ways. As the verse on which the song is composed says: "I rejoiced when they said to me, 'Let us go to the house of the Lord.'".
In a rhythmic and encouraging music video, Samet and Mendelsohn sing a song full of faith, joy, and confidence.
