Israeli celebrity Eden Pines said on her Instagram account this morning (Monday) that she discovered that the number of views on her story drops when she shares "Birchot Hashachar" every morning. However, she emphasized that this will not prevent her from continuing the custom.
Did you divide? For thousands of years we dreamed of Jerusalem, so now we want to dirty it?
A year ago, the actress said that her mother comes from an ultra-Orthodox family, that she is approaching religion and observes Shabbat and kosher.
She spoke about her closeness to religion on her Instagram account at the time: "I have a religious, ultra-Orthodox family, the most perfect in the world. I was educated and raised on the values of religion, keeping the commandments, Sabbaths and holidays, but something there was lost along the way.".
She then spoke about her approach to Judaism in practice: "Prayers, commandments, and observance are not just for the religious. It's not forced. It's with the full understanding that you are in your cleanest place with yourself, and you are free for the next stage. And for me, it was the war on temptations. On thrills.".
According to her, "This coming closer takes me to a completely different place, it's the reliance on our religion and faith and Judaism that we received as a gift from all nations! I enjoy getting up in the morning and praying for this special life that was given to me.".
On another occasion, when asked if she believed in God, she replied: "I believe with complete faith. I pray every morning - I thank God, who created, I fold my hands, the morning blessing. There is something magical about faith and prayers, especially in the morning, that gives you the strength and drive to move forward and succeed. A few minutes with yourself, with the siddur, and with Him. And most of all, to be grateful for everything that is.".
Pines, as mentioned, shares 'dawn greetings' on her Instagram account every morning.
But this morning, as reported by Jonathan Gottlieb on Channel 7, she wrote: "I came across something - every time I upload dawn greetings, my story drops by almost half in terms of views. I don't know why Instagram doesn't like it, but it won't stop me from uploading it.".
She added: "After a thorough examination, I realized that a lot of text systematically on top of graphics is something that reduces exposure. So we will try a different way each time so that it reaches all of you and we can continue to thank you every morning.".
