Why did the mayor of Lod write to the judge: 'Do me a favor and resign. Rabak, I'm fed up!''

The mayor of Lod, Attorney Yair Revivo, is simply fed up.

Crime in the city of Lod is increasing, but all police efforts to eradicate criminals from the streets are met with judges who refuse to internalize what is happening in the city.

In a post published this evening (Monday) by the mayor on his Twitter account, he wrote: To the magistrate's court judge in Rishon LeZion:

""Honorable Judge Tal Aner, do the people of Israel a favor and retire. You are not in the right profession.".

""Every person the police bother to arrest for a shooting/crime, you release. Come live in Lod and go down to the people because you are simply disconnected.".

The mayor added: "I am attaching here your verdict on a burglar who was arrested 3 times in the last month for burglary and theft and 3 times was released because the crime was 'unsophisticated.' Rabak, I'm fed up!""
