Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 8,242 patients have died in the country, with the last on the list passing away on Friday. Earlier, Prof. Ran Blitzer, head of the cabinet of experts advising Magen Israel, referred to the spread of the Omicron variant in Golan Yochpaz and Anat Davidov's plan at 103F, saying that "if the wave is several times higher and several times longer than we saw in the Delta wave - the cumulative number of seriously ill patients may be higher than we saw in the previous wave." He added: "We need to take all the precautions that are currently being taken.".
