Moshe Dadon (30), a singer and songwriter who lives in the town of Aluma, releases another single, Thursday, "The Big Morning," on the way to his debut album.
After his latest songs, "Tamloch" and "Al Kol Nashef", which were received with great warmth and sympathy by the audience, Moshe continues to penetrate the heart with his moving voice, combining and connecting texts with a spiritual impact with the daily reality that each of us encounters.
The new single describes a moment of solitude at night that the writer felt. "Apparently, on the outside everything was quiet, calm and pleasant, but inside something was turbulent: Where is my progress in the many areas of life that I want so much? For a short time it seems that I am starting to move, I am moving towards the goal, until the fixed habits again shatter the desired improvement... I start and stop, start and stop again... What will happen?""
Moshe describes the moment: "I felt that what I needed at that moment was simply a strengthening of faith and expectation that it would certainly be good, to remember the principle that darkness is temporary and part of a personal process for each individual, and for all of Israel in general. It is always darker before dawn. And not only will it pass in the end – but that a greater light will soon come after it and shine both on me and on all of Israel who are waiting for the great light, for complete redemption.".
Moshe Dadon reveals that as a composer he always goes on a small journey with every song he gets to create, and indeed the timing of the single's release fits well with the message he expresses, "The days of Hanukkah, which we recently celebrated, describe a great miracle: the people of Israel were in spiritual and physical darkness, but thanks to that generation's faith in God, they were granted miracles beyond all nature, and even today a person can strengthen himself in his own personal darkness.".
In the song "The Great Morning," Moshe collaborates with top-notch musicians, including Amit Yitzhak, Naor Carmi, Shalom Mor, and more.
Dadon expects the public to connect with his work and invite him to perform in front of them everywhere. "I won, and my poetry and work are the fulfillment of a mission. I would love to go anywhere in Israel, perform and share my songs, which I see as having real, moving and touching content.".
