Wave of terror: A 34-year-old security guard was moderately injured in a car-ramming attack that occurred last night (Monday) at the Thanim Crossing in Samaria, near Tulkarm.

The terrorist who attacked, Muhammad Yunus Musa, a 15-year-old resident of Nablus, was shot and killed by security guards at the crossing.

The injured security guard was treated by rescue forces called to the scene and taken to Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer.
According to eyewitnesses, the terrorist arrived from the direction of Avni Hefetz and sped into the checkpoint with his vehicle, hitting and wounding a security guard. Security guards at the scene opened fire on the vehicle and killed the terrorist.
Defense Minister Benny Gantz praised the security guards for their quick response and asked to convey his best wishes for a full recovery to the security guard who was injured in the incident. He directed that a comprehensive investigation be conducted, lessons learned be drawn, and heightened alertness and vigilance be raised at all crossings in Judea and Samaria.

Sheba Medical Center reported: "During the night, a wounded man in his 30s arrived who was injured as a result of a runover. His condition is described as moderate and stable and he was transferred to the operating room.".
The Defense Ministry said: "At 1:20 AM, a 16-year-old terrorist crashed into the checkpoint at the entrance to the crossing and hit one of the security guards, who was seriously injured. Additional security guards from the Ministry of Defense's Crossings Authority responded quickly, shot the terrorist and neutralized him. The security guard was taken to Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer and, as far as is known, his life is not in danger.".
