The 'Leap of the Way' project selects a classic that is worthy of a contemporary and updated electronic musical outfit, 'extracts' the voice of the original song's performer using innovative technology, reconstructs the song and the arrangement - and presents listeners with a new work starring the singer's original voice.
Therefore, the 'leap forward' that the new song makes since it was created many years ago, to a contemporary sound and style - makes it a vibrant and updated song, with great respect for the original arrangement, without destroying it, or, God forbid, lowering its standard.
The project is signed by Yohanan Bleich, a talented musical arranger, media personality and parade presenter Kobi Sela, and branding and design strategist Eyal Gur, who designed the graphic language of the entire project.
So far, 8 songs have been prepared in the 'Leap of the Road' laboratory, and additional songs are in the works.
And what about Amit Listwand? The child prodigy has grown up in the meantime, and today he is a successful lawyer who specializes in personal injury, serves as a cantor in terrible times, and appears here and there at small events.
Has the voice of the prodigy survived over the years, or has the adaptation survived as well?
