Everyone adopts one vaccinated person: Have you already convinced a friend, neighbor, or relative?

Among other things, the question will be discussed whether, thanks to the decrease in morbidity, it is possible to wait a longer time between the first and second doses of the vaccine, as was the practice in Britain and other European countries, in order to increase the duration of protection.

The hesitation is due to the fact that a child's vaccine dose is 251 times smaller than an adult's vaccine dose. The goal is not to reach a situation where a booster vaccine must be given to children within a few months.

Another question that will be discussed is regarding vaccinations for recovering children. Some experts believe that one should wait three months after recovery, as for adults. Other experts argue that one can wait a longer period of time, since the immune system declines more slowly in children.

Yesterday, Bennett's office announced that Prime Minister Naftali will take his 9-year-old son David Bennett to be vaccinated as soon as the vaccination campaign officially begins, and will ask ministers and Knesset members who have children of the relevant ages to do the same and share on social media.

It was also stated that the policy regarding childhood vaccinations is one of soft persuasion, without pressure or coercion - to make all information transparently accessible to parents.
