The Tishrei holidays have just passed, and their spiritual imprint is still evident in hearts: The management of the 'Shuvo' network has already sat down to summarize with great satisfaction the Tishrei holiday activity among school students all over the country, and the impressive data brought everyone to amazement.

""When we embarked on the process of bringing the hearts of all family members closer to Judaism, we never dreamed that we would reach such results, and so quickly," say the management of 'Shuvo'.

The activity began after the network's CEO, Rabbi Chaim Michael Guterman, ordered a comprehensive survey to be conducted among the entire population of Israel. The comprehensive survey revealed: Most of the Jewish public in the country is thirsty to hear and get to know Judaism up close, in pleasant ways and through a rapprochement of hearts. The conclusions of the survey were studied in depth during the summer.

About a week before Rosh Hashanah, classes began at the Shuvo network, with thousands of Shuvo students across the country returning to school. The night before the return to school, the Friends of Shuvo committee in Israel convened at the home of the network's friend, the head Rabbi Moti Sonnenfeld, to prepare for the start of the school year, especially in light of the enormous growth and expansion that Shuvo has experienced this year. In the elevated ceremony, which was led by the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Koenig, the head of the Knesset Israel, and the media person Yedidia Meir, Chief Rabbi Harim Lau participated and spoke, describing in detail the long-standing relationship with the Shuvo network, the host Rabbi Moti Sonnenfeld, and the CEO of Shuvo, Rabbi Michael Guterman.

At the end of the evening, the participants received a blessing from the president of the Shuvo Network, the supervisor of the Grand Rabbi Chaim Walkin, who took the time to come to the event to strengthen those engaged in the work, along with members of the presidency, the grandson of Baba Sali, the Rebbe, Rabbi Shlomo Buso, and the arbiter, the head of the General Teaching House, the Grand Rabbi HaCohen Kook.

Shuvo CEO Rabbi Guterman thanked the network's president, Maran Mashgih, and the Torah luminaries for their efforts and coming tonight, and for working tirelessly throughout the year for Shuvo. He also thanked the network's friend, Rabbi Sonnenfeld, and all the participants, noting that this partnership gives us the strength to act and do for the children of Israel in the Holy Land, as envisioned by Shuvo's founder, Maran Gra Pam zt"l.

Right at the beginning of the school year and in anticipation of the holidays, they embarked on a comprehensive mission to introduce the commandments of the Tishrei holidays not only to the students of the institutions, but also to all their families. The success was dizzying. More and more parents asked to hear about the commandments of blowing the shofar, making atonement, the custom of atonement, and wearing a lulav and a sukkah.

In "Shuvo," the owners recruited professional shofar blowers who traveled to schools across the country, teaching the students the secret of blowing the shofar in all its details and grammar. The excited students who were privileged to hear the shofar blown in the month of Elul, wanted to know the laws of the mitzvah well, and passed on the information to their parents. One of the parents said in tears: "Ever since I was a child and went with my father to hear the shofar in the synagogue, I don't remember ever hearing the shofar blown. But after the child came home and told me about the shofar with shining eyes, I decided that I had to go to the synagogue with him this year to hear the shofar. At first, I only intended to go on the first day of Rosh Hashanah, but we all enjoyed ourselves in the synagogue, we stayed for every Musaf prayer, we heard all the blowings and prayed from a prayer that we received from one of the worshipers. The next day we got up early and were the first to arrive for the morning prayer. What can I tell you, I'm already looking forward to next year.".

Trucks with roosters and chickens arrived at the schools of Shuvo to observe the mitzvah of atonement as has been done for generations. The children learned how to turn the rooster around the head three times, and what is said during the observance of the custom. They also received complete sets of four species, which they passed on to family members who excitedly reported the immense privilege that had fallen to them to observe the mitzvah of taking a lulav every day of the holiday.

Another exciting project they held on their return was decorating the sukkah. The 'Shuvo' institutions announced a sukkah decoration competition. The children sat down with their parents to make stylish and luxurious decorations, with the goal of uniting the entire family around the beauty of the sukkah mitzvah and conveying the joy of Judaism in a pleasant way.

The organization's management would like to thank the teachers and the teacher, and all the teams who took part in this huge and invested project. We also appreciate the many donors, without whom the project would not have been possible, for their many contributions.

Shuvo CEO Rabbi Michael Guterman said: "The Tishrei holiday activity is a direct continuation of the results of the survey we conducted, according to which the overwhelming majority of Jews in Israel are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to learn about Judaism. We will draw conclusions from the success of the Tishrei holiday, and will continue with similar activities during the winter, Hanukkah, and other holidays. Shuvo's path is clear: to illuminate Judaism for those who have not been exposed to it, and to teach them its beauty and charm with kindness and patience.".
