An exciting and heartfelt visit to 'Hillel Yaffe': The Chief Rabbi of Hadera, the Gaon Rabbi Yisrael Biton, came to visit the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, along with his brother Boaz Biton, Deputy Mayor of Hadera, and Rabbi Baruch Fahima - rabbi of the city center and the marriage department at the Religious Council.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Mickey Dudkevich, director of the medical center, and his deputy Dr. Dikla Shriki Dahan, Dr. Amnon Ben Moshe, the administrative director, and his deputy Drora Ben Michael, Rabbi Dovv Bindiger, rabbi of the hospital, and Nathan Luzon, director of the farm division and a resident of Hadera.
During the meeting, Dr. Dudkevich reviewed with those present what was happening at the hospital and spoke about the hospital's extensive development in the field of infrastructure, the acquisition of new and advanced technologies, and the new and emerging medical services.
He referred to the hospital's complex dealings with the coronavirus and the fact that Hillel Yaffe is one of the busiest hospitals, with 3 dedicated wards for coronavirus patients.
The participants took a tour around the hospital, including the new catheterization unit complex and the new, protected maternity ward building that was inaugurated about a year ago, during the Corona period.
There was also talk of adapting the hospital's infrastructure according to Jewish law so that it would serve the religious-Haredi public.
At the end of the meeting, the participants noted that they were impressed by the wide-ranging activities being carried out at "Hillel Yaffe", and both sides agreed to continue and deepen the relationship for the benefit of the religious and Haredi population.
