Netanyahu asked the court, through his lawyer Yossi Cohen, to delay the execution of the ruling, claiming that he did not have the requested amount.

However, the court rejected his request today (Sunday) and ordered him to pay the full amount immediately.

In addition, the District Court ordered Yair Netanyahu to pay additional expenses of 7,500 shekels for rejecting the request.

Alkalai sued Netanyahu in 2019, after he shared a post stating that Alkalai was a planted agent of the Wexner Foundation within the Walla network.

Netanyahu, who did not file a defense to the lawsuit, was ordered to pay the amount requested by plaintiff Alkalai. Although Netanyahu later claimed that he did not receive the lawsuit in the required written form, the court did not accept his claim.
