A Palestinian stole an Israeli car that was parked on Route 55, near the supermarket in Nabi Elias in Samaria, this morning. A short time later, the thief noticed that two girls, ages 5 and 15, were sitting in the back seat, who had remained in the car while their father went shopping. The Palestinian veered off the road, abandoned the car and fled - and the car crashed into a guardrail. Police officers driving a traffic police vehicle on the route noticed an Israeli car that had crashed into a safety guardrail, stopped next to the car to provide assistance - and when they arrived at the car, they noticed that the two girls were sitting in the car, without a driver. The girls did not require medical treatment and within a short time, the police located the father, who is now giving testimony. The forces are conducting searches to locate the Palestinian suspect.
