Facebook decided today (Wednesday) to permanently block former MK Michael Ben-Ari and Baruch Marzel of Otzma Yehudit, due to their support for the Kach movement and the legacy of Rabbi Kahane.

According to a report on the Ynet website, the movements have been designated as terrorist organizations in Israel and the US and therefore violate the social network's community rules.
Marzel and Ben Ari are now defined as "dangerous individuals" and therefore their pages, groups, and profiles will be removed from Facebook's platforms, which also include Instagram.
And not only that: from now on, the mere expression of support or praise for Marzel and Ben Ari will be considered by Facebook as grounds for removing the content and even blocking it.
Facebook said: "In an effort to prevent and disrupt any actual harm, we do not allow organizations and individuals who declare a violent goal or engage in violence to have a presence on Facebook. Accordingly, we have removed Baruch Marzel and Michael Ben Ari from our platforms due to their continued support for 'Kach'/'Kahana Chai' – organizations that are defined as terrorist organizations under American and Israeli law.".
Dr. Michael Ben Ari responded: "Facebook, with its policy of supporting terrorism, gives a free hand to Hezbollah, Hamas, Haaretz newspaper and Mansour Abbas. And my page is being deleted under false pretenses, following timely complaints from left-wing supporters of terrorism. They deleted a page with 57,000 followers, without a complaint about a specific post. We did not say the last word on the matter.".
MK May Golan of the Likud responded: "Big Brother version 2021. The social network will dictate to us what to think and especially what to write. It is unthinkable that in a democratic country such a decision would be made without supervision and regulation on the subject. I intend to hold an urgent debate in the Knesset in light of the scandalous decision.".
