The opposition continues to put a damper on the process - presenting thousands of reservations about every law the coalition seeks to pass in committees, in an attempt to exhaust it.

Among all the reservations submitted to the Knesset law, there were also some particularly amusing ones - submitted by MK Uri Maklev.

Maklev asked to add soft drinks to the refreshments in Knesset committees, as was customary in the 20th Knesset, with an emphasis on diet drinks, and to allow half-hour breaks in committee discussions that last more than two hours.

However, for long discussions that last beyond 8:00 PM, he added more interesting reservations: One of the amendments he requested is that in such a discussion, "participants will be served a refreshment of healthy vegetables, which will include watermelon in the summer and cucumbers and kohlrabi in the winter.".

He also has reservations about the discussions that will be extended on Thursday night: "On the subject mentioned in section (d) in the discussion held in the committee on Friday night, cholent will be served in addition to vegetables. If the discussion were held over nine days, cholent will be served instead of potato-kugel overnight with pickles.".

Maklev also demanded that in the Airports Authority law, "everywhere it says 'Ben Gurion Airport', it will read 'Ben Gurion Airport - Ben Gurion Airport'" - as the title of the book by journalist Yitzhak Feldman, from the office of MK Yisrael Maklev.

Blue and White MK Eitan Ginsburg responded to the reservation, tweeting: "The opposition's reservations are finally dealing with core issues - watermelon in the summer, cucumbers and kohlrabi in the winter, cholent on Friday night and potato cholent on the Ten Holy Days.".

MK Michael Malchieli of Shas was quick to point out the confusion between the Nine Days and the Ten Days of Repentance: "That's right, my friend. There are the Nine Days... With the conduct of this evil government, we will also reach the Ten Days of Repentance. PS: Potato Kugel Overnight with pickles added, that's one of the things. You're invited to a tour of Mea Shearim.".
