Why didn't I shake MK Nir Orbach's hand? And who told the journalist about it?

Yesterday it became known that I did not shake Nir Orbach's hand "demonstratively.".

Of course, the only people who saw this "demonstrativeness" were me and Nir Orbach, and since I didn't tell Amichai Atali, a journalist from Yedioth Ahronoth, about it, I'll leave it to you to figure out who was trying to get some applause here as a 'martyr'.

Still, I received many comments congratulating me for not shaking his hand, along with comments that I had acted improperly.

Just to be clear, I have never boycotted a person because of politics or because their opinions differ from mine.

My many friends from all sides of the political spectrum can attest to this.

I did not boycott, nor did others, with God's help, organizations and civil society activists from the most extreme left, whose views are as far from mine as the East is from the West.

There is no need for a division of opinions to lead to a division of hearts.

But I have nothing in common with someone who chose, with a clear mind, to cooperate with the enemies of the people of Israel, with those he himself defined as supporters of terror, for his own personal benefit.

And that wasn't enough for him, but he and his friends, as is the custom of all converts, decided to immediately move on to preach their new religion.

This is not a political compulsion from their perspective. It is not the least evil in their view.

The participation of those who support infanticide in power is nothing less than a "new stage in redemption." Judaism, leave it alone, is the cause of division in the State of Israel.

And the new enemy is the extremists.

Not "the extremists on both sides," because all left-wing extremists can be embraced. It's just the right-wing extremists, the barn burners.

Enough with the divisive words! They should be reserved for the real enemy: the Haredim, the Mustapha, and in general, anyone who didn't come with Naftali Bennett and Ayelet Shaked to the closing party of values and ideology.

No more silly comparisons between Jewish 'terror' and Arab terrorism. There is only Jewish terrorism! Ahmed Tibi is no longer a supporter of terrorism. Only Netanyahu deserves to be called that.

It's not like I have to make a conscious decision not to shake hands with the new friends of the terrorist supporters.

The hand knows how to move away on its own.
