MK Dudi Amsalem continues to bash Nir Auerbach: After participating in the Knesset Torah reading ceremony, the Likud MK posted a video of the event on his Facebook page last night - and took the opportunity to poke fun at the MK to his right.
Amsalem wrote: "Following the bill submitted by Minister Zandberg prohibiting 'soliciting minors to repent'... Senior coalition member Mr. Nir Orbach, please kindly ask your good friend Minister Zandberg, does the bill also apply to dancing by minors while inserting a Torah scroll?! I would appreciate your quick response.".
This week, Amsalem attacked Orbach in a speech in the plenary: "It's lucky you said you met Aviv Gefen and not Umm al-Kulthum, you probably would have gone and brought us something from Egypt. Mr. Orbach, be ashamed, look in the mirror and be ashamed, you especially. We understand Osem al-Faraj, you! How much blasphemy you are committing. You, you.".
""I'm a traditional Jew, I've never seen anything like this. I understand that whoever wants to desecrate the Sabbath, bring a pig, you sit here and support him. You! After all, one day the story will end in this world, and you will have to give an account not to Naftali Bennett - to someone else! Do you understand? And you don't have a drop of fear of God.
""Aren't you ashamed? Children look at you in Bnei Akiva, look at you, in the churches, pray for this government to fall.".
""Leave Naftali Bennett alone, I don't believe he's that religious, but you? Aren't you ashamed? Look in front of yourself, in front of your face, you and yourself, look inside - is it all roles? I'm asking! I'm asking you. When I see what you've done - I'm ashamed.".
