The defiant bill by MK Tamar Zandberg of Meretz, Naftali Bennett's new partner, according to which anyone who tries to persuade a minor to become closer to Judaism is liable to six months in prison, led to a wave of reactions on social media.
Among other things, dozens of people arrived yesterday morning in front of MK Zandberg's house in Tel Aviv to hold a joint prayer and mass tefillin laying.
However, today an interesting counter-reaction came from MK Zandberg's partner, Uri Zaki, who serves as chairman of the Meretz executive committee.
Zaki, who leads a traditional lifestyle and puts on tefillin every day, tweeted a photo of himself putting on tefillin - taken by his wife, a member of Knesset.

It should be noted that Zandberg, for her part, made it clear about the bill that it is yet another Likud propaganda against the boycott government.
""The proposal has been on Meretz's table for 20 years and was pulled from the attic by Balfour investigators. I submitted 1,400 proposals, I forgot about half of them," she said.
