What happened to Naftali Bennett?
A. Master Corona
When Naftali Bennett soared on the wings of imagination with 24 seats in the polls and rushed to Balfour with the title - Master Corona - he did not imagine that not only would Israel be the first in the world to emerge from Corona, but that the Master would be the Prime Minister. Bennett was left without the Master's title and without a subject.
B. The DNA and the Agenda
And worse than that. Bennett didn't read the fragile DNA of the left-wing voters who temporarily camped on the right. They betrayed him with a knife and left him bleeding in the field, stripped of mandates.
When Bennett winked at left-wing voters, he became, so to speak, a refined left. That is, without the right-wing agenda - the reform of the judicial system, the settlement enterprise, and the religious values of religious Zionism.
At that time, both right-wing and religious-national voters fled from him to Smotritz and Likud.
C. Yamina's base?
When Naftali Bennett concocted the illusory rotation government with Lapid and Co., he forgot to check - did his base in Yamina support the move? Do members of the Yamina faction support the move?
It turned out that over 601% of Yamina voters support the right-wing government and 3 of the top ten in Yamina strongly oppose the move.
D. The Rabbis of Religious Zionism and the Disguise
Bennett, who despised the weight and status of the rabbis of religious Zionism, did not correctly assess the power of their influence on the members of the list and on his base. He did not correctly read the power of influence of the greatest rabbi of religious Zionism - Rabbi Chaim Druckman.
Bennett also failed (along with his friends) to understand that right-wingers cannot disguise themselves as leftists, let alone radical leftists, and that at the moment of truth they will make a U-turn to the right - to the right.
H. Ayelet Shaked
In contrast to Bennett's childish and jumpy behavior, Ayelet Shaked is made of leader material. She has a freezing composure. She is rational and sees the distance.
Ayelet Shaked has a strong base in the right (and not just in the right) that admires her, that has turned a blind eye to her. She couldn't play Bennett's game. Shaked is not a Shiite suicide bomber.
End of the matter:
Bennett continues to make mistakes and play between right and left. He is still sending threats to Netanyahu, in order to squeeze a rotation out of him with the 6 mandates he has in gross. He still does not acknowledge that he has no legitimacy in the right. Not among the people. And there is no possibility of a left-wing government.
