The United Arab Emirates Ambassador to Israel, Mohammed Mahmoud Al-Hajja, stopped to eat at Falafel Shlomo in the Givat Shaul neighborhood of Jerusalem.
'"On my way to a meeting in Jerusalem, I stopped by one of the oldest and best falafel shops in the city and enjoyed a cordial conversation with the shop owner," Al-Hajja said on his Twitter account.
The UAE ambassador to Israel arrived in Israel last month. Al-Hajja is a 41-year-old senior Emirati diplomat who was chief of staff to Emirati Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed.
He is from an aristocratic family, married with four sons. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Northeastern University in Boston, and a master's degree in energy management from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
