Sara Netanyahu, the Prime Minister's wife, was evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital two weeks ago after not feeling well.

The official announcements only stated that she suffered from appendicitis.

However, according to a report on Channel 7, today (Thursday) it was learned that Netanyahu was rushed to the hospital in serious condition, and that her life was in real danger at that moment.

A further delay in arriving at the hospital could have had fatal consequences.

At the hospital, Netanyahu underwent a series of tests, and the professional and rapid diagnosis and treatment - along with prayers - ultimately led to her full recovery.

The surgery was performed by surgeon Prof. Alon Pikarsky and anesthesiologist Prof. Reuven Pizov at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

Channel 7 notes that the Prime Minister also hinted that it was not a simple appendectomy, but a much more complex medical event.

Netanyahu was quoted as saying: "When you discover it in time, it's a minor operation; when you discover it late, it's a real danger.".

The Prime Minister's wife thanked God for her recovery during a visit she made with her husband to the Western Wall before the elections.

In a note she inserted between the stones of the Western Wall, she wrote: "For my family, I ask for health, for the peace of my husband, for the peace of my children Yair and Avner, and for a speedy and full recovery from the surgery and a return to a full life. With God's help, healing, health and great success, and great gratitude to the Creator for the recovery from the surgery.".

As reported by Haredim 10, the Prime Minister arrived on the Wednesday after the surgery to commemorate the Rashbi in Meron, praying for victory in the elections and for his wife's recovery. His son, Yair, also came to pray at the tomb of the prophet Samuel in Jerusalem.

Despite his wife's serious condition, the Prime Minister continued his field campaign across the country, holding about six conferences a day.
