I can't believe it, would this be called a victory?

Is this why we elected Knesset members and invested millions? Haredi Knesset members. Honorable and respected. You are crazy. Huge • And who knows if the sweet taste of this victory will not very quickly turn to a bitter taste

Today, a crushing victory for the forces of good was recorded in the pages of history.

This is no small matter. All relevant departments, special units, and contact with the media were mobilized this time. The best media minds were recruited in a hurry and with urgency, pens were sharpened, and statements of success and victory were sent by email, fax, and WhatsApp.

And don't take this lightly. A lot was at stake.

For many years the system was frozen and disabled. The administrators rushed into the battle as if they had won a great spoil, finally a few minutes of glory. A little peace of mind. A battle that will bring justification to all the budgets and to all those who ask what has been done to date. What was all the money and efforts that everyone donated for them for?.

On the other hand, the other side also knew that this was a battle of a lifetime. Everyone was prepared for this moment and tens of thousands hung their eyes to see how the battle would be decided.

They also threw all their weight behind it, and legions of supporters, journalists, and lobbyists did everything they could to present the result as a victory.

Everyone knew the day and the time. Also the place. They knew there would be one round. Maybe two. And there they would have to make a fatal move, one that would leave the other side in shock. Warlords know that everything depends on the first stage. What is thrown into the campaign at the opening point can greatly affect what follows.

not.

I'm not talking about the IDF and Hamas.

Although I'm sure you thought so.

I'm talking about the pathetically declared 'victory' over the rejection of the zero-tax law.

I see and I don't believe it. Would this be called a victory? Is this why we elected Knesset members and invested millions? So that we can "succeed" in getting the VAT law postponed by two months?

The Haredi members of Knesset. Honorable. And honorable. You have gone crazy. Hugely.

If you had devoted a tenth of the effort invested in this 'campaign', we would have been after the conscription law, and after the cuts. And so on.

And who knows if the sweet taste of this victory won't quickly turn to a bitter taste when revenge comes.

And a final point: Once upon a time, so and so years ago, there were orderly times. End of time. Beginning of time. Holiday eve. Between times.

Today, with one shot from the military wing, our schedule is completely different.

Ceasefire. Humanitarian. Expiration of interim agreement. And then complete disaster.

Somehow all our plans for trips, outings, and celebrations revolve around a calendar that originated in Gaza.

And we will be worthy to see the coming of our righteous Messiah. Soon. Amen!

Yours, Micah.
