In a message from Rabbi Yehezkel Halperin, the official collector of the Alter, which was sent to all members of the community, it was stated:

""To the many who ask:

""Our Rabbi Rosh HaYeshiva Shlita does not intervene and did not order voting for a particular list in these elections.

""Of course, it is fitting for the G-d-fearing public to participate and elect ultra-Orthodox representatives for the sake of G-d, who work to increase the honor of the Torah and the teachings of G-d, and may the name of God be loved and sanctified through them.".

""With blessings of a kosher and a happy Passover.".

This means that the head of the yeshiva from Gur is not calling for a vote for Torah Judaism.

And what will the Hasidim vote for?

A source in the community that withdrew from the Gur courtyard told Haredim 10 this evening: "There is a tendency towards Shas that has helped develop the community's Torah institutions, but there was no explicit mention of voting for an 'ultra-Orthodox party,' but rather for the Haredim, according to the word of God.".
