""The UN legitimizes terrorist organizations like Hamas and ISIS""

ראש הממשלה בנימין נתניהו תקף הערב (רביעי) בלשכתו, לאחר פגישה עם מושל מדינת ניו יורק, אנדרו קואומו, המבקר בישראל, את האו"ם ואמר כי דוח הוועדה לבדיקת המבצע בעזה כבר נכתב מראש. "מועצת זכויות האדם של האו"ם נותנת לגיטימציה לארגוני טרור רצחניים כמו חמאס ודאע"ש. במקום לבדוק את ההתקפות של החמאס על אזרחי ישראל ואת השימוש שהוא עושה בתושבי עזה כמגן אנושי, במקום לבדוק את הטבח שעושה אסד באזרחי סוריה, או את הטבח שמבצעים אנשי דאע"ש בכורדים, החליט האו"ם לבוא ולבדוק את ישראל - הדמוקרטיה היחידה במזרח התיכון, דמוקרטיה שפועלת באופן לגיטימי להגן על אזרחיה מפני טרור רצחני. "דו"ח הוועדה הזה כבר נכתב מראש, העומד בראשה כבר החליט שחמאס הוא לא ארגון טרור, ולכן אין להם מה לחפש פה. "קודם שיבקרו בדמשק, בבגדד, בטריפולי, שילכו לראות את דאע"ש, שילכו לראות את צבא סוריה, שילכו לראות את חמאס  - שם, ולא פה, הם ימצאו פשעי מלחמה".

At the beginning of the meeting with the Governor of New York, Prime Minister Netanyahu said:

""You have to remember that Hamas celebrated September 11; they celebrated the murder of thousands of innocent people, including thousands of New Yorkers. When the United States killed bin Laden, they condemned it and accused it of crimes.

""Hamas continues to do these horrible things that ISIS does: they persecute Christians, they abuse women. In fact, they reject modernity and they constitute a terrorist tyranny that is imposed on their citizens, and when the citizens refuse to be human shields, you know what they do? They execute them.

""This is the moral divide evident in the world today. On one side are Israel and the United States, which represent democratic regimes committed to human rights, committed to a real future for our people; and on the other side of the fence are ISIS and Hamas, unbridled Islamist tyrannies that aspire to fulfill their own horrific beliefs and horrific actions.".
