Usually, composer Itzi Waldner transfers his melodies to other singers, but this time he was unable to do so: the song 'Ilan' was special to him and he decided to sing it himself.
In Israel, speeding is the norm: Why do we drive fast?
To make the song a surefire hit, he decided to turn to his longtime good friend, singer Yaakov Shweki, to join him in a duet.
Shweki happily agreed to lend his voice to the project.
Together, Itzi Waldner and Yaakov Shweki created a touching and moving performance.
