14 days until the polls close: A seat survey conducted by Prof. Camille Fox and published this evening (Tuesday) on Channel 13 shows that if the elections were held today, Likud would be the largest party in the Knesset with 29 seats.
In Israel, speeding is the norm: Why do we drive fast?
This is an upward trend for Likud, as in last week's poll alone, the party stood at 27 seats in the polls. The party that is still rising is Yair Lapid's Yesh Atid party, which currently stands at 20 - one seat more than last week. On the other hand, Gideon Sa'ar's New Hope is crashing with a new third-place record - only nine seats, two seats less than the previous poll conducted last week. Naftali Bennett is in third place, and continues to maintain stability with 11 seats to his right - just like in previous weeks. Similarly, Ayman Odeh and the Joint List, which remain stable with 8 seats. The Yisrael Beiteinu party, led by Avigdor Lieberman, is receiving 7 seats according to the poll. United Torah Judaism, led by Moshe Gafni, is also receiving 7 seats. And while Merav Michaeli's Labor party remains with six seats, as do Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben-Gvir's Religious Zionism with five - Aryeh Deri's Shas loses a seat, plunging from seven last week to only six. As in the previous poll, this time too, Nitzan Horowitz's Meretz, Benny Gantz's Blue and White and Mansur Abbas's RAAM are swinging and receiving four seats, each. Yaron's economic party slipped below the threshold, again tonight. The emerging map of blocs shows that Netanyahu's bloc - which includes Likud, the Haredi parties and Religious Zionism - stands at 47 seats. The bloc to replace him stands at 58 seats. In the middle, Yamina with 11 seats and Ra'am with 4. If Yamina joins the right-wing bloc, the bloc will have only 58 seats. On the question of suitability for the prime ministership, Netanyahu still leads safely with 35% - one percentage point less than the previous survey. On the other hand, Lapid, who last time stood at 19% suitability - reached 20%. Following them: Sa'ar with 13% and Bennett with 12%.
