Ministry of Health data published this morning (Tuesday) shows that 3,662 new coronavirus cases were detected yesterday - which is 4.01% positive out of 95,505 test results received yesterday.

In Israel, speeding is the norm: Why do we drive fast?

The coefficient of adhesion decreased to 0.95.

The number of confirmed cases of the pandemic in Israel has reached 806,841, of which 38,650 are active patients.

The number of seriously ill patients hospitalized has also decreased, and now stands at 668 - a decrease of 45 seriously ill patients. Of the seriously ill patients, 212 are on ventilators.

More than 50 percent of patients today are under the age of 30. In other words, the data shows that the vaccination program is successful.

However, according to Military Intelligence data, the number of patients in serious condition is still considered relatively high and is slowly decreasing - more than 700 on a weekly average, and therefore the extent of the disease could indicate a renewed outbreak.

In addition, despite the decrease in the rate of confirmed cases and morbidity among adults aged 60+ due to the vaccination campaign, it appears that the decrease in the extent of severe morbidity is very slow and is likely due to the fact that a significant portion of the middle-aged population has not yet been vaccinated.

5,922 people have died since the outbreak of the pandemic a year ago.

4,995,253 people have so far been vaccinated with the first dose and 3,859,111 have been vaccinated with the second dose.

Vaccination data shows that the population with the highest number of vaccinated people in the general population is the Hashmonaim community, followed by Kochav Yair, Omer, Savyon, Nof Ayalon and Givat Avni.

Among the Haredi population, Rechsim leads with the highest vaccination rate (30%) for communities with more than 10,000 people. It is followed by Bnei Brak with 27%, Elad with 22%, Modi'in Illit with 20% and Beitar Illit with 18%.
