The new, tumultuous Hasidic hit by British singer Shlomi Gartner actually lay in producer Gershy Moskowitz's drawer for over 15 years.
Early in his career as a producer, Gershi received the song from renowned hitmaker Pinky Weber - but it was eventually forgotten, in the heat of the work.
About six months ago, after visiting a coronavirus patient in Lakewood, Gershi was left with the words "life is life" playing in his head and taking on new meaning over the past year - and he thought it was time for us to start "living.".
Gershi remembered the old poem and, after finding it, immediately sent it to Shlomi Gertner.
As soon as Shlomi heard the danceable song with lyrics that were so fitting for the past year, in which they begged Hashem for a long life, he immediately knew he wanted to record it.
For the arrangement, Gerashi recruited the best, arranger Abromi Barko - who helped give the song the right envelope, so that it would become an instant hit.
• The song is dedicated to my dear friend Shruly Kahn, a survivor of the Corona virus, who was blessed with great miracles.
