The office is also examining the backlog of cases in the Triangle and making efforts to examine the extent of the spread in the area.
The Ministry of Health will continue to update with additional findings as they become available.
Corona project manager, Prof. Nachman Ash, said this morning about the mutations: "In terms of the British mutation, it is widespread, over 90 percent of the daily cases are responsible for the mutation. Regarding the South African one, we are monitoring every case, we estimate that we have about a hundred cases that we are trying to break the chains intensively. We have not detected other mutations, we have also developed a method for monitoring those who come from abroad, as well as a survey in our country.".
