In exclusive recordings obtained by Kan News and revealed today (Sunday), one can hear that instead of focusing on the position of the professional figures in a substantive discussion, the precious time was devoted to shameful confrontations between Netanyahu and Gantz.

Netanyahu: Please Sharon (Alrai-Price)... I suggest you get some headlines out quickly. Please Sharon

Gantz: I make headlines all the time, that's what I do. I sit here and make headlines from the beginning until now. Two and a half hours bringing in experts. I sit and make headlines, I don't do anything else.

Al-Rai-Price: I would like, Mr. Prime Minister, to add something.

Netanyahu: If I'm not mistaken, the government meeting... just a note, was delayed for a good few days because of the demand to first pass the fines in the Knesset. So we could...

Gantz: Prime Minister, this meeting should have been yesterday morning. This is how you concluded with me.

Netanyahu: We agreed on one thing, that we would bring things up when we had good data. We were, or rather... that we would get out of this.

Gantz: prime minister...

Netanyahu: But one thing is for sure...

Gantz: You are not accurate, Prime Minister...

Netanyahu: I understand... I understand the agenda, I don't propose to dwell on it. We are taking up valuable time.

Gantz: No no no... The Prime Minister, you, the Minister of Health and I were on the same conversation. Other people were on that conversation. It was agreed that there would be a government meeting on Wednesday morning and we would discuss how to proceed. That was the conclusion. It didn't happen. It didn't happen either

Gantz: A political filibuster and an epidemiological filibuster like that, which ultimately says no, we'll only start on Monday and only then do the first phase, we'll wait ten days. And they're doing it under good conditions, and we need to tell the truth about it.

Netanyahu: It (the discussion) didn't happen for several reasons. You know that the Knesset didn't complete the legislation and we waited. The request to complete the legislation...

Gantz: AIt would have made sense to have the discussion about the lockdown even without the fines, that's not true.

Netanyahu: The request for legislation in the Knesset was yours.

Gantz: It could have been done earlier. The fines thing took two months, you know that. He lay there for two months and not before, you know that very well.

After this round of confrontations, the cabinet members went on a short break, after which Netanyahu deviated from the consensus and brought the extension of the lockdown to a vote, much to the displeasure of Benny Gantz and in violation of the law. The Attorney General immediately announced that the decision was annulled because it was not passed with authority.

At this point, the Prime Minister and Minister Ohana directed arrows of criticism at Gantz and the Attorney General.

Netanyahu to Gantz: The blood of many Israelis will be on your hands!

Ohana to Mandelblit: Return to your natural place, know your place.

Gantz replied to Netanyahu: Don't teach me anything about human life, you are throwing sand in the public eye.
