A difficult tragedy: At Tel Hashomer Hospital, the late Rabbi Eliyahu Miletsky, a resident of Bnei Brak, died this evening (Tuesday), at the age of 24, after collapsing in his home in the Or HaChaim neighborhood on Shabbat Sunday from cardiac arrest. The young man, with no underlying illnesses, was taken to the intensive care unit at Tel Hashomer in critical condition, and doctors fought for his life, but to the dismay of his family and friends, he passed away. The late Rabbi was born in Bnei Brak in 1996 to his father, the late Rabbi Reuven Miletsky - and his mother, Mrs. Chaya Tzizel, née Kessler. His great-grandfather is the late Rabbi Chaim Chaikal Miletsky, zt'l. In his youth, he studied at the large yeshiva in Beitar Illit, headed by the late Rabbi Chaim Ackerman. When he reached his late teens, he married his wife, the daughter of the late Rabbi Yitzhak Singer, a supervisor at the Shaarei Tvuna yeshiva in Bnei Brak. Sha and Nora, a young man, father of small children, left his family, and his wife, a young widow, broken and shattered. The tragedy struck the family before his sister's wedding, who is due to be married in two weeks. On Saturday night, the man and his wife celebrated their daughter's one-year birthday, and his wife is about to give birth. His funeral will leave tonight at 11:30 p.m. from his parents' home at 26 Yaakov Communities Street in Bnei Brak - to Beit HaChaim Yarkon, Shaar Petah Tikva.
