The video shows the child standing on the sidewalk, and a police officer grabs him tightly, lifts him into the air, and leads him to the police car, while the protesters shout: "What are you doing? You are not normal!" This is because it is a small child.
An eyewitness who participated in the protest described how the boy was taken by the police officer into a car, and a car passing by the intersection saw the arrest and stopped near the car. The occupants of the car spoke to the police officer and managed to convince him to release the boy, took him with them, and drove him home.
Attorney Nati Rom from Mhonenu commented on the attempted arrest: "We are increasingly encountering the use of force and arrests against small children. This violent arrest of a child of about 10 years old, under the age of criminal responsibility, is of course illegal.".
