Israeli singer Aviv Geffen and Hasidic singer Avraham Fried spoke this week, ahead of the release of the joint song they created - after yesterday they posted on their social networks a picture of the single cover for the song "Bezhora".

Aharon from Beit Shemesh receives 6,400 shekels every month because of depression. Maybe you deserve it too?

The song will be revealed next Sunday.

""I'm here in Tel Aviv in the studio," Gefen told Fried, "the song came to me and I'm all in tears and shivers. Listen, I didn't believe it in my imagination.".

He added: "When the song was written, I said I wish, I wish I could sing with you and I want to say thank you very much for the courage. It takes a lot of courage to connect your entire audience with my audience and that is perhaps the most important message. The connections, the unity in the people of Israel and in the world in general and thank you very much is a great honor for me.".

Fried replied to Gefen: "Aviv, I pray that we will be messengers to unite the people, especially in these days when everyone is going through what they are going through. If there was a need for unity all these years, then now it is probably much more so, and I have a good feeling that it is a success in strengthening and uniting the people.".

Gefen: "If you and I were asked a year ago, before the coronavirus, if we would meet, we would either avoid or be afraid. And in the song 'Drought' you sing and I also sing, 'I am your brother, don't forget.' That we are all actually brothers and this was forgotten because of all the incitement and hatred and pain and we moved away, but actually we are brothers.".

Fried: "It started like I told you after I saw your interview, as if I felt your soul and I think this song not only came from your soul, but from within your soul. You wrote it with so much expectation for unity and for the light to be good, but the secret is to remember that we are brothers and hate is a very difficult word.".

Gefen: "That's right. It's a difficult word with no solution.".

Fried: "Enough with the hatred, we need love and that's it.".

Gefen: "Thank you Avraham, you are a beautiful singer and I am so happy that this connection was finally made in a real and respectful way. I love you very, very much. Thank you very much for the wonderful singing.".

And Fried replied: "Now I'm waiting to hear your performance and make it a duet. Very beautiful. May you succeed. May the voice come not from the throat but from the soul.".
