''The congratulations strengthened him' • David Bitan's wife: We believe we will emerge strengthened

Hagit Bitan, the wife of MK David Bitan, who contracted the coronavirus and is hospitalized in serious condition, expressed optimism this evening (Monday) when asked about his chances of recovery. Aharon from Beit Shemesh receives 6,400 shekels every month because of depression. Maybe you deserve it too?  In a conversation with News 12, Hagit said that her husband was moved by the great concern and the many wishes for his recovery. "He is connected to an ACME device so that his lungs can rest and heal, his condition is stable and we are optimistic," said his wife Hagit. "Like many patients who are in serious condition, it is a long process with ups and downs, and we hope for a speedy recovery. David is strong, we are with him and are strengthening him." She added: "All those who congratulate also strengthen us and him, and we believe that we will emerge from this strengthened. He is conscious, hears the concern and is satisfied." Bitan received wishes for recovery from all ends of the political spectrum. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrote on Twitter: "Praying for the well-being of our friend David Bitan." Bitan's condition is described as serious but stable - and it does not appear that his life is in danger, despite the deterioration in his condition, which led to his being connected to an ACME machine. His condition could easily deteriorate further, and therefore he must be under the close supervision of doctors.
