Two years since NASA's Curiosity rover first landed on the surface of Mars, Google is launching a 3D tour service on the surface of Mars and the moon. Since we have a potential Israeli representative who may be on Mars, it's important for us to stay updated.

On Techcrunch Teaching How to navigate the new options:

1. Log in toGoogle Maps

2. In the bottom right button you will see an icon that will let you put the map in "Google Map" mode. Click on it

3. Let the map update to 3D. Start zooming out as much as you can.

4. After zooming out as far as possible, wait a moment. Options for navigating to the moon or Mars will appear at the bottom of the screen.

5. If you don't see anything, your explore tab may be closed. Click the up arrows on the side at the bottom right of the screen.

6. For all of this to work you need to use the new version of Google Maps.

Try the new feature, it's spectacular.
