It is doubtful whether we grasp the full significance of the recent changes taking place in the Arab world. One Muslim country after another is breaking away from the anti-Israeli bloc and signing normalization agreements with the Jewish state.

It is not known how far this process will expand, and whether the hostile countries will succeed in stopping it, but in fact the most natural and normal thing is happening here. It is not war and hatred that are the basic situation, but peace and cooperation.
Countries are supposed to strive for normal relations with other countries, and to maintain trade, scientific, medical, security, and other ties between them, for the benefit of all their citizens.
Reason for the conflict: Incitement
We have been accustomed to thinking that between us and the Arab world there is an abyss of hostility, and that only if we pay with land, water, and the like will Arab countries be willing to swallow the bitter pill of making peace with us.
But this assumption was fundamentally wrong. The hostility of the Arab world stemmed from incitement and false propaganda, and once that crumbled, the simple truth emerged – that they have no real reason to be in conflict with us when we can live in peace.
This is what the Lubavitcher Rebbe said to a journalist from Ein Bein in 1958, about the Israeli-Arab conflict: "I do not believe that the Arabs have a special position on this, and this is nothing but incitement. I do not see any conflicts between the people of Israel and the Arab people.".

The relationship between the Jewish people and the nations of the world, including the Arab nations, has known ups and downs throughout history. Many countries, which today are considered very friendly towards us, recorded dark episodes of hatred and bloodshed against Jews. In contrast, Jews lived in Arab countries with peace and mutual respect.
Anti-Semitism usually erupted following incitement. In many cases, the instigators were religious figures, Christian or Muslim, and the masses followed them. With the renewal of Jewish settlement in the Land of Israel, incitement arose among the Arabs, and this became institutionalized with the establishment of the PLO, whose sole purpose was to incite hatred and hostility toward the Jewish state.
The big mistake of certain elements over many years was the attempt to please the PLO, through concessions and retreats and planting hope for the establishment of a Palestinian state. They did not understand that peace could never be established with this hostile organization, because its entire essence is hatred and hostility. Therefore, it rejected the most generous offers from us, because it cannot give up the purpose of its existence – the negation of our existence.
Training the world
In recent years, a different strategy has been adopted - to stop courting the hostile terrorist organization, and to open avenues of dialogue with Arab countries where hatred is not part of their very existence. And suddenly it became clear that they and we have many common interests and much to gain from friendly and peaceful relations.
And perhaps this too is part of preparing the world for redemption.
In recent decades, we have seen processes of nuclear weapons destruction, the collapse of tyrannical regimes, and the rise of consciousness of world building and peaceful relations between nations. This spirit is now reaching the Arab countries, and thus the entire world is becoming ready for complete redemption.
