
The Ministry of Health published the coronavirus morbidity data this evening (Thursday): since midnight, seven more patients have died, and the number of deaths since the outbreak of the epidemic in Israel stands at 2,319 people.
577 people were diagnosed as carriers out of 21,207 tests, with a positive rate of 2.71%.
The number of active patients in Israel stands at 17,869.
1,013 patients are hospitalized in hospitals across the country, of which 580 are in serious condition. 227 of the patients are connected to ventilators.
Meanwhile, the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread around the world and break records: 16,079 confirmed cases of coronavirus were detected in Italy in the past 24 hours. This is the highest daily number since the outbreak of the pandemic, after standing at 15,199 yesterday.
For the first time since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, more than 10,000 people have been diagnosed with the virus in Germany in a single day. Yesterday, 11,287 new infections were diagnosed, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 392,049. The death toll rose to 9,905, after 30 people died yesterday.
Authorities in the Czech Republic announced that 14,968 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the past 24 hours. This is the highest number of infections in a single day since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. The death toll rose to 1,739, after 120 people died yesterday.
In Spain, the increase in morbidity also continues.
