Shahar Glick, Galei Tzahal's reporter for Haredi affairs, was attacked last night (Wednesday) by a group of young people in Kiryat Belza, Jerusalem, while covering Simchat Beit Hashoeva and gatherings in the area.
According to Galei Tzahal, several of the participants recognized the reporter, attacked him, beat him, and caused injuries to his head, neck, and legs.
During the attack, his mobile phone was violently taken from him, which was only returned to him later.
""The reporter was dragged, under threats, to a side alley, where he was 'interrogated' for long minutes by one of the attackers," the GLATC says.
A complaint about the attack was filed with the Jerusalem Police.
