The Rebbe of Sanz, who last Tuesday received a positive test result that he had contracted the coronavirus, went out onto the balcony of his home on Rosh Hashanah night to wish "Happy New Year" to the Hasidim.
The Rebbe had an oxygen tank for respiratory assistance.
The Rebbe conducted the prayers and tishim at his home, with the participation of only his sons and grandchildren.
On the night of the holiday, he held a 'tish' that lasted 3 hours at his home.
On the second day, Musaf prayed before the pillar in the house, and even made some faint noises with effort.
As reported in Haredim 10, the Rebbe of Sanz sent a moving letter to his followers on the eve of the holiday in which he wrote, among other things: "It was my fault, I was expelled from the inheritance of God, for I did not deserve to be a faithful messenger to those who sent me, to appease anger and wrath, and to sweeten the judgment with mercy.".
