Ministers who participated in the preliminary discussion for the Corona Cabinet told Here News that there is also a high chance of a full lockdown.

If a decision is made to impose a lockdown, it will go into effect on Tuesday.

Movement will be limited to 500 meters from home, the education system will be closed from the fifth grade onwards, and activity in the economy will be suspended except for essential work, supermarkets, and pharmacies.

Prayer will take place in public spaces only, and entertainment venues and restaurants will be closed, except for deliveries.

Channel 12 reported that the meeting's agenda stated that the "tightened containment" outline is the only outline that will be submitted for approval by the ministers and the prime minister. However, representatives of the Ministry of Health claim that there is no escape from a full lockdown before the holiday, but the Ministry of Finance opposes such a move due to the economic implications.

Prof. Idit Matot, a member of the Gamzo project team, also said in the cabinet: "What we are seeing now is not like what has happened so far. There is a very large increase in hospitalizations. Although we are strong at Ichilov, we are already receiving patients from hospitals in the north and south, which was not the case before. Serious steps need to be taken.".

According to the "tightened containment" outline, restrictions on city crossings will take effect from 5:00 a.m. on the eve of the holiday until 5:00 a.m. the day after the holiday ends. Restrictions on gatherings in areas of the country according to the color red, including prayers.

Closing the education system, with fifth graders learning remotely throughout the holidays. The public sector will move to an emergency mode, the private sector will work with a workforce of between 30% and 50%.

In addition, there will be a complete closure of restaurants - which will be able to operate only for deliveries, entertainment venues, businesses and commerce, and domestic tourism, every day from September 19 to October 12.
